The mind behind MIDI Guitarist is
Eddie Nuenning, a professional guitarist and mastering engineer from Germany.
Eddie stands out for his proficiency in both classical and jazz music, combined with his profound knowledge in music technology and recording/mastering.
He became an expert in MIDI Guitar in the early 90s first using guitar synths in fusion bands and later developing a unique blend of fingerstyle acoustic guitar and MIDI sounds in acclaimed vocal/guitar duos.
With over 30 years of experience using MIDI Guitar live and in the studio, Eddie is a seasoned mentor and educator.
His expertise covers using MIDI Guitars to emulate keyboard and real-world instrument sounds, as well as creating innovative hybrid timbres by blending guitar and synth sounds.
His deep understanding of the necessary equipment and techniques ensures believable and creative results for MIDI Guitar enthusiasts.

I’m Eddie Nuenning, a professional MIDI guitarist, mastering
engineer, and guitar coach from Germany.
With over 30 years of experience using guitar synths and MIDI
guitars both live and in the studio, I’ve established myself as a
MIDI expert.
As a recording artist, I’ve released eight albums under the
Acoustic Music Records and Soundresort labels.

Musical background
After starting out playing guitar in Rock, Folk & Jazz Bands, I studied classical guitar and received a Teachers Diploma as well as an Artists Diploma.
After that I played in different duo settings (guitar duos, guitar/vocal duos) where I implemented guitar synth since 1994 in order to achieve more orchestral sounding guitar sounds.
In 2010 I started my own “Soundresort” studio and label, doing lots of live and studio recordings. From 2015 I got into mastering which I now do exclusively in my studio.
Milestones
My career milestones were playing live and giving workshops across Europe, in Russia & Taiwan as well as writing four books and recording 8 albums.
The plan for the near future is further developing my YouTube channel and spreading the MIDI Guitar gospel through blogs, concerts and workshops.
